This vehicle is responsible for supply of gravel to a point automatic time (PATA), used for rapid repair of a roadway.
The bucket is designed to pour directly into the gravel PATA, hence its height.
This delicate operation can not be done on ground level and stable.
Today this car is no longer used because the PATA have their own dumpster.
